3D RENDERINGS FOR NEW PACKAGING DESIGN
I designed this new packaging for the Safety Zone in December, 2021. Blue for nitrile, green for vinyl and yellow for Latex. I used a DSLR camera to photograph the gloves and Photoshop to touch them up and remove the background. Also, I made the above 3D images using a 3D rendering program called Adobe Dimension.
MEDICAL PACKAGING DESIGN
I designed this new medical grade packaging for the Safety Zone as well. I was told to use mostly white for the front panel while still incorporating the new design from the non-medical packaging.

Drop Shadows Using Adobe Dimension
These 3D packaging images show subtle drop shadows making the 3D rendered images look even more realistic. For the lighting I used the standard ambient lighting plus two additional light sources in Adobe Dimension.
10 Count Nitrile Gloves Bagged for Big Box Store
The flat artwork files show how packaging looked before it was sent to the printer. A big box store’s website currently features this packaging.
BLUE NITRILE PACKAGING DESIGN
I designed the above packaging for the blue nitrile powder free disposable gloves. These boxes were meant to be displayed horizontally or vertically. I used Adobe Illustrator to make all of the packaging. I sent these flat files to the printers for mass production. All packaging files needed to have the correct descriptions, icons and barcodes that corresponded to each part number for both medical and non-medical item numbers. All packaging files also needed to be the correct dimensions for the factories overseas. One of my main duties when working on packaging was to resize the dimensions because different part numbers would vary in size. This would be based on how many gloves would fit in a box and how many cases could fit into a shipping container. The above dimensions for this particular part number is 245mm(width) X 125mm(length) X 77mm(height).
CLEAR VINYL PACKAGING DESIGN
I made the above packaging for the vinyl glove packaging. These came in a variety of colors. The clear glove image was a challenge to photograph. The glove needed to be not too tight but not too loose. Too tight caused the image to look like there was no glove and too tight would produce a messy looking image. I believe you will see this design at your local donut shop in New England.

The yellow version was made for the latex gloves.

I made these outer cases images using Adobe Dimension. Below are the flat files for the outer cases which were sent to the printer for mass production.

For Use With Icons
Above are icons used for the inner and outer case packaging. A lot of these icons were taken from stock art websites and modified to fit in the space, while others like the janitorial were a combination of elements.
SAFETY-ZONE PRO PACKAGING, Black Nitrile
I designed this packaging for the premium line of disposable gloves called Safety-Zone Pro. For these, we used darker colors and use an industrial type design. Above is the black nitrile version for Safety-Zone Pro product line.
